Susan Caldis (M.Ed Research) is Vice-President of GTANSW, Secretary of AGTA, and a 2016 Asialink Alumni. In 2015 she was the recipient of the Outstanding Service to the Profession Award in recognition of her contribution to the Geography Teachers Association of NSW and geography education in schools. Currently, Susan is employed as a unit convenor in the Initial Teacher Education programs at Macquarie University (K – 10 HSIE; Geography Methodology) and the University of Sydney (HSIE Education for the primary years). Will Morony is currently CEO of AAMT. He came to the role in 1997 after a career as a teacher and mathematics officer in the curriculum section of the South Australian education department. In his work with the AAMT, Will has taken a leadership role in all aspects of the Association’s work to represent and support the Association’s members including policy and curriculum development, professional learning, progressing the numeracy agenda and teacher professional standards.
Stephen is the General Manager of the Primary English Teaching Association Australia (PETAA), a not-for-profit professional member association for primary educators in Australia. Stephen has worked in the educational community for most of his working life. A former primary school teacher, Stephen entered educational publishing in sales and marketing and then took on senior positions as Primary Publisher at Pearson Education and General Manager at Horwitz Education. Prior to joining PETAA, Stephen created and ran his own quarterly primary teacher magazine, Teachers’ Toolkit.
